God’s word for us today is: ‘ENCOURAGE.” The name “Barnabas” was said to mean “Son of Consolation” or “encouragement.” The Greek word translated “consolation” is paraklesis, which in English means to exhort or encourage. Like Jesus and Barnabas, let us not get tired and weary to inspire with courage, spirit, or hope; to raise confidence to remove reluctance. And, who knows “that bang on the table” can restore confidence to another young Henry Ford around you, or another Saul in your circle of influence. Let’s check how you and I can become a Barnabas this world badly needs today.
